George Kerr III

 George Kerr III is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit consultant, public health advocate, and community leader with more than three decades of professional experience in organizational management, HIV/AIDS advocacy, harm reduction, and faith-based community service.

He founded G III Associates in July 2015 to provide capacity-building, strategic planning, and advocacy support to nonprofits working at the intersection of public health, faith, and social justice. His approach is grounded in community — built on relationships, lived experience, and a deep commitment to showing up for the people and organizations he serves.

Prior to founding G III Associates, George co-founded START at Westminster, a faith-based HIV and substance use initiative at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC, where he served as Executive Director from 2008 to 2015. Before that, he spent nearly two decades as Manager of Facilities Services at FHI 360 (formerly Family Health International), one of the world's leading human development nonprofits.

George is a proud U.S. Navy veteran — Yeoman 2nd Class, stationed at NAS Cecil Field, FL, and the Pentagon, Arlington, VA — whose service instilled the values of discipline, integrity, and commitment that define his work today.
